Fees and Insurance

Dr. OmerzaAs a courtesy to you, your family dentist or the person referring you to our practice, we do not charge for the initial exam or any recall visits. The length of time for treatment and nature of treatment are the major factors in determining the fee. The cost of treatment will vary depending on the severity of the problem, with adult fees ranging slightly higher than the child's fee. Porcelain braces are slightly higher than standard stainless steel braces.

Our usual payment plan is an initial down payment of 25%, followed by a 24 month period with no interest or finance charge unless the account is past due. The down payment and monthly payments can often be adjusted to meet your needs.

Some dental insurance plans provide orthodontic benefits, usually on a "co-payment" basis. If you are eligible for orthodontic benefits, you should provide us with a claim form from your insurance carrier so we can assist in obtaining benefits. We will be happy to help you complete insurance forms but it is up to the patient to make sure that the insurance payments are actually paid.
